Bordeaux Airport (BOD) can be accessed from either Junction 11A or Junction 11B of the A630 ring road that runs alongside the eastern edge of the complex. Driving in the city of Bordeaux is usually straightforward, although the very centre can become busy and congested at times. Always remember that the French drive on the right-hand side of the road at all times.

There are ample places to park in the city, including a number of underground parking areas in the very centre. However, it is usually a cheaper option to park alongside the tram stations, close to the eastern banks of Bordeaux's River Garonne.
